IGBO YOUTHS EXPRESSED BITTERNESS OVER THE DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS OWNED BY IGBOS IN LAGOS STATE

Entertainment Igbo Youths under Umbrella of Coalition of South East Youths Leaders ( COSEYL ) have expressed sadness over the demolition of more than 13 buildings owned by the igbos by the Lagos State Goverment . The Igbo group accused Sanwo Olu of building tentions and enemity in the state . The group leader , Goodluck Ibem , in a press briefing , called on the Lagos state Goverment to stop the operation for peace to reign in the state , the igbo group leader , Goodluck Ibem , reacted over the demolition of buildings belonging to the igbos in Ajao Estate , in his words ," this is barberic , this is senseless , this is wickedness , Sanwo Olu is building up enemity within the area , this is an act of wickedness to the igbos ," he added . Lagos state building Agency , LASBCA , Gbolahan Oki , said the affected building does not have the needed approvals and they were built around the restricted areas near the airport and on the pipelines which poses future threat , so they lack merit , Oki added ," According to the building Agency boss , Gbolahan Oki , the owners did not come up with the necesary and required documents of approval for construction in the area
