Entertainment The Lagos State governor , Babajide Sanwo Olu , begs the igbos in Lagos for their votes in the upcoming Governorship Electon in Lagos state to avoid defeat . Sanwo Olu made this plea during his campaign tour of the igbo dominated Markets in Lagos , the governor met the amalgamation of Igbo traders accross 58 major Markets in the State . Sanwo Olu met with the Igboamaka Progressive Union Association , the group backed the re-election of the governor , and they also promised to come out in mass to cast their votes for the governor , Sanwo Olu . Igboamaka Progressive Union Association , made a plea to the governor over the safty of their businesses and peaceful co-existence with the owners of the land , and the governor , Sanwo Olu ,

assured them of their safty and of that of their businesses in Lagos State .
