Entertainment The gorvernorship candidate of Labour Party ( LP ) in Abia State , Dr. Alex Otti has made a strong pledge over unpaid salaries and pension in Abia State , he stated this during his campaign activities that he will clear all the salaries and pension Arrears owned by the present governor of Abia State , Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu . presently , doctors in the State has embarked on indefinite Strike for non-payment of salary arrears of over 25 monthss , Pensioneers are reportadly owed up to 56 months in arrears . Alex Otti and his campaign team made a quick stop at Uzuakoli, Bende LGA of Abia State where he interacted with a group of Villagers at Uzuakoli Community Hall . Alex urged the group and the villagers not to be discouraged over the none declartion of Peter Obi as the winner of the just concluded Presidential election held on 25th Feb. 2023 , history will smile at Obi soon because he has the gift of reclaiming his mandate . Otti thanked the group for spending their resources to support the Labour party candidate , Alex Otti . The renowned economist made his campaign promise to the group , in his words ," I will Pay all outstanding salaries and pension arrears by December 2023 , if i clich the sit of the governor of Abia State , he added "
