Entertainment UK Prime Minister , Lizz Truss has announced her resignation after a short stay in office . Her policies was largely critised in the Capital Market , and it has also brought more disagreement amongs the party men . Her resignation came on thursday , 20th Oct. 2022 , during her official briefing at her office at 10 dowing street on thursday . In her words during the briefing , Liz Truss " I could not deliver the mandate on which i was elected by the Conservative party " she said . She spent only 45 days in the office as the UK prime minister , she added that she will spent few more days in the office whhile the process unfolds "
