All the presidential Aspirants of All Progressive Congress (APC) agreed to support a consensus candidate during the party's primaries , except the former Lagos state Governor , Bola Ahmed Tinibu . The presidential Aspirant on the platform of APC kicked against consensus candidate , he added that he will only assept consensus candidature unless it falls on him . The committe chairman , Oyegun , while briefing the party National Chairman , Abdullahi Adamu , he explain that all the party's presidential aspirants agreed on consensus candiddate , but one Aspirant showed no willingness to support the idea or the decision of the party on Consensus "
