The 63 years old Marcos jr. has stepped to prestigious post like his late father did , many years back. He was sworn in on thursday 30 june 2022 , his victory was a landslide . Ferdinad jr. succeeds Roddrigo Duterte who was believed to have given drug lords in the country a tough fight . Ferdinand Mercos jr. has once again brought his late father 's name back to the memories of the people of Philippines , his late father ruled the philippines from 1965 till the day he was over throwned in 1986 by the People power Revolution .
